A Portrait

One of the best dogs....

I painted this today of Jake, our first Llewellin, who passed away last July.  I have my own critiques of it--I always struggle with harsh eyes and where on Earth did his neck go?!--but all in all, it is a decent likeness of him.  He was a very handsome, very sweet boy, and it is still hard to think about him.  It is amazing how much our animals come to mean to us....
